I wanted to upload a picture from a better time (what with all this pre-exam depression haha); this was taken last year in December in Reims, France. The particular patisserie was owned by Eric Sontag, an amazing sweet craftsman. The little snowmen (far right) were absolutely divine (Imagine beautiful choux pastry filled with jam and chocolate creme patissiere, cloaked in coconut ice, jazzed up with some buttercream frosting, and finished with a gorgeous frosted carrot nose and chocolate top hat)- not to mention the buche de noel, mille feuille, giant raspberry macaron and lemon curd meringue tart...amazing.
